Aims & Objective
- To impart and promote the study (a) of Vedanta and its principles as propounded by Sri Ramakrishna and practically illustrated by his own life and (b) of comparative theology.
- To impart, promote and undertake the study of and research in arts, science, technologies, and industries in all their branches both basic and applied.
- To carry out educational work amongst the masses.
- To establish, maintain, carry on and assistschools, colleges, universities, research institutions, libraries, lecture halls, orphanages, workshops, laboratories, hospitals, dispensaries, homes for the aged, the infirm, the invalid and the afflicted, relief and rehabilitation works, and any other educational, medical, cultural and social-welfare service activities and training institutions and other institutions of alike nature.
- To print, publish and distribute, gratuitously or otherwise, articles, journals, books or leaflets that the organisation may think desirable for the promotion of its objectives.
- To try to alleviate human suffering through education and health care.
- To assist rural communities through rural development centres.
- To work for the all round welfare and development of human beings, especially the poor and the backward.
- To create awareness about the spiritual nature inherent in all human beings and to manifest the same in every thought and action.
- To create the thought current of religious harmony based on the realization of Sri Ramakrishna that the objectives of all religions, though given different names, is to attain and realize one same Reality.
